I graduated from the University of New Brunswick in Canada with a Bachelor Degree in Science. I still live in/on the East Coast of Canada, between Maine and Nova Scotia. Growing up as an air force brat, my writing is influenced by the study of human nature and how people behave, habits I picked up as my family moved nineteen times in his first twenty one years. I love food, wine, music and travel and all play a role in my work.

My writing will often draw upon elements of these experiences to round out my characters and plotlines. I am involved in the world of music, supporting local musicians, occasionally playing with them and always celebrating their successes.

I am currently working on the seventh novel in the suspense-thriller series: Donovan: Thief For Hire. It's tentatively entitled The Mediterranean Caper. It follows Three Wrongs, AMACAT, Steal It All, and The Body on the Underwater Road., as well as Her Irish Boyfriend and Lost in London.

In the meantime I also write as Alexa Bowie, and have published a 'Cozy Mystery' series, set in the fictional town of Newcastle, in Canada. The first novels: Death Between the Walls, Death Between the Tables, Death Between the Decks and Death Between the Cays are already out. Book Five, an Irish-Canadian Mystery comes out in 2027. I am married, with two adult musician sons, Jon and Matt. My wife Lois and I live in Fredericton and Miramichi, in New Brunswick, Canada.
